I encourage every reader to do what Mari has started here. If we want change in D.C. we have to let some of our nincompoop leaders hear us. Here's what I sent: Dear Senator, We would like to express our concern for your departure from the Republican Party with your stand on the "Stimulus" bill before the congress this weekend. We just do not believe this bill is right for America and Americans of any generation! This bill will succeed in crippling the economy to the point that we may never recover. History has shown that lowering taxes has always been the solution to strengthening a weak economy. When the corporate and capital gains taxes, among others, are lowered significantly there will be a boost in consumer confidence. The markets will rise, businesses will expand, and government revenues will grow. You will be in our prayers, that you will be able to find the strength to be strong for our Country's freedoms, and vote NO on a bill that we believe will destroy America with it's clear push for socialism. For all his tough talk, he's gotten to be a political fence rider, and his message has gotten namby pamby. It has been very disappointing. Last night's show was a real shame after everything that happened yesterday in the news...he chose to interview sports people and play games. It frankly, blew me away that he barely mentioned what is going on! Thank God for Glenn Beck and Hannity.
