We are probably way late watching a DVD of "Step mom" we got at the library last night.

If you have seen it you will remember that the kid's real mom is dying of cancer at Christmastime, and the family, including his new, younger wife (the step mom) are celebrating together.

Each of the kids, a boy and girl goes to their Mom's bedroom upstairs to get presents from her and to "say goodbye" since they realize she is dying. It is a very touching and moving...
